Random Cats: Latin AND Greek

Learning Latin

If you have 10-15 minutes to spare, you can learn Latin! Each lesson will take 5-10 minutes to read out loud, plus 5 more minutes of practice time to listen to and repeat the Latin proverbs. There is a new post every other day; that will give you time to repeat each lesson and/or review previous lessons. Here are the lessons.

The key is to SAY EVERYTHING OUT LOUD. You learn a language with your ears, not your eyes. So, read the whole lesson out loud, and then repeat the Latin proverbs again and again. Repeat the proverbs from the day before if you have time.

There will also be review lessons to help you review and repeat. Plus, you can use the slideshow that appears on every blog post page for self-paced repetition and review.

Repeat, repeat, repeat. That's how you learn Latin! I hope the proverbs will make all the repetition enjoyable. :-)
