The idea is that you see an English prompt for a Latin word, along with the proverb(s) that features the Latin word, but with the Latin word blanked out. Your challenge is to supply the Latin word!
You can then advance to the next slide to see if you were correct.
And remember, always read out loud. You learn languages with your ears, not your eyes. So when you advance to the slide with the answer, take a moment to read the proverb(s) out loud. If you want a refresher course on any of the proverbs (meaning, pronunciation, etc.), you can find a link to the original blog post on the Sayings list, where all the sayings are listed alphabetically.
